Earlier this year, we said we were taking steps to protect our clients and crew during the current health crisis.
We have:
- implemented single crew transport to job sites,
- workplace distancing of 2 m minimum,
- provided instruction and supplies for frequent disinfecting of truck and tool surfaces,
- counseled staff in preventative measures when in public and private indoor areas,
- assigned personal equipment such as glasses and ear protection that has previously sometimes been interchanged within a crew,
- outlined to crew symptoms and signs to be aware of,
- provided masks for use when appropriate,
- provided disposable nitrile gloves for use in public areas such as buildings, washroom facilities and instruction on how to properly remove and dispose of them,
- counseled and re assured our staff that they will somehow be looked after in the event that they are sick and should stay home,
- provided government health information so there is a true understanding of what the issues are at this time.
For the time being, we will continue to work in the fresh air and make the gardens we look after beautiful.
